I was born and raised in Cookeville, Tennessee, where I graduated from Cookeville High School. I attended Bethel College and majored in Health with a minor in Religion. Erin and I were married after graduating from Bethel and moved to Memphis where we both attended Memphis Theological Seminary and graduated with a Masters of Divinity. I have been ordained as a minister since 1997. My hobbies are tinkering with anything that has wheels and a motor. I am an animal lover and Erin and I have two dogs and a multitude of cats.
Pastor Erin Howton-Angel
Co-Pastor
I lived a majority of my childhood in Robinson, Illinois where I attended Robinson High School. I was an exchange student to Paraguay, South America, when I was a junior in high school and when I returned, my family moved to McKenzie, TN where I attended my senior year of high school at McKenzie High School. I went on the attend Bethel College in McKenzie which is where Jonathan and I met. (Fun fact: my mother was a recruiter for Bethel and was partly responsible for recruiting Jonathan.) I graduated Bethel with a major in Psychology and a minor in Religion. After marrying Jonathan the summer after college, we moved to Memphis to attend Memphis Theological Seminary where I graduated with my Masters of Divinity. My hobbies include sewing, knitting and embroidery. I love the winter months and can’t get enough of snow.
